- THIS IS: The Super Antenna SuperScanR model SR1, a scanner antenna and SDR antenna, conveniently retractable with a built-in Low Profile Tripod to support it. It provides super long range reception for all types of scanners. Indoor or outdoor external scanner antenna that can be deployed on any table, desk, floor, back yard, patio, porch, shelf, desk, garage, attic, or balcony. COMPATIBILITY: All scanners or SDRs that have capability to connect an external antenna.
- SPECIFICATIONS: Receives for scanning or monitoring all VHF and UHF radio bands and frequencies, for omni-directional reception. The SuperScanR antenna receives Police, Fire, Air, Rescue, Business, Marine, Government, Federal, Aeronautical, SDR radio, HAM, MURS, FRS, GMRS, PMR, Weather, FM, FM Narrow/Wide, Digital, APCO-25, Project 25, P45, Tetra, Trunking, Low Band, 20 MHz to 100 MHz, High Band, 100 MHz to 300 MHz, VHF, UHF, 300 MHz to 1.3 GHz, 700 MHz, 800 MHz, and everything in between.
- DEPLOYMENT: Deploys in 3 minutes by one person with no tools needed. Can be positioned away from the scanner or computer. SIZE: Extremely compact 12" x 2.5" x 2" (30x6x5cm) for travel, it fits easily into a pocket of your Go Bag. DEPLOYED SIZE EXTENDED: Triangular tripod base extends to 19" (49cm) wide footprint. The tip of the antenna is 51" (130cm) tall when deployed to full length, and it may be adjusted to a lower height if desired. WEIGHT: Only 10 ounces (284g), and heavy duty.
- COLOR: Natural metallic silver. COAXIAL CONNECTOR: Type SO-239 female (PL-259 compatible) with 50 ohm standard impedance (common to all scanners). FITTINGS: all 3/8"-24 threads. TRIPOD HUB: milled from a solid block of aircraft grade aluminum, and has three 3/8"-24 holes to interface with the removable tripod legs. RADIAL TERMINALS: Two quarter-inch (6mm) male push-on male tabs provide secure quick disconnect for optional SuperWire Radial Sets and ground lugs to the mount hub.
- CONTENTS: This is only a tripod antenna. It DOES NOT CONTAIN A COAXIAL CABLE. You will need a coaxial cable and/or COAXIAL ADAPTER for your scanner.
